When you create the auction you will need to choose a starting bid. There are some people who choose a low price, hoping to attract more readers and more bidders and drive the price higher and higher. Other people choose a conservative approach: they choose a price they would like to get, which may be a high price. This will ensure they do not undersell the item, but they may get less readers. Whatever you choose as the starting price, make sure it is a price you are willing to sell for since if the auction closes with only one bidder, that is the price they will get. |
