83.5 to 85 Vanagon Stainlees Steel replacement Coolant Tubing Kit
Remember when your early Vanagon wasserleaker started leaking at the rusted out coolant tubing behind the R/H rear wheel, and you scrambled to get a quick fix using flex hose, or some sort of stiff unflexable marine tubing--and swore at the thought of replacing it?
Well here is the easiest way to permanently repair this common problem in an early ( 83.5 to 85 ) Vanagon
A 1.25" stainless steel 065 tubing that direct fits in the stock location, from the engine radiator hoses to just in front of the wheel well.
The kit consists of two stainless heavy wall tubing ( twice the wall thickness of the stock VW tubing ) two 6" silicone hoses to make the splice, and 4 stainless aircraft screw type clamps.
This is the fastest and most permanent repair for your problimatic cooling system feed and return lines from the radiator, behnd the R/H rear wheel, and will out last your Van or Westy---
The whole kit is $124.99 plus shipping to your door.
I had a a leaker at the wheel well and discounted all the cheap fixes for this permanent, one time repair.
The pipe kit can be seen at;
