These reels are SUPER SMOOTH and rival anything made by SHIMANO, DAIWA, or PENN for the same money, quality, value, and ball bearings!! You'd pay $229+ for a SHIMANO SUSTAIN with the same quality and 6+1 ball bearings and at least you get a spare AL spool at that price. I would hope so for that price! For that kind of money I feel the SHIMANO SUSTAIN is way way over-priced!! Even their STRADIC with only 4+1 bearings is way over-priced at $119, but that's SHIMANO. All things aside and comparing features apples for apples. DAIWA's prices are about the same. PENN has yet to start marketing reels in this same class as OKUMA, SHIMANO, and DAIWA. They are waking up though! The reason I'm selling these TCP reels is that I'm upgrading to their new VS, AVEON, INSPIRA, and ALUMINA series because the later 3 have a super ultralight 10 model offered in those models.
