I've tried to the point that I really don't care what happens to Epage.com anymore. They don't care - then why should I. Goes both ways! Those especially ANNOYING forced TIMEOUTS after just 5-10 minutes of logging in suck the worst!!! Their annoying HTML Font glitches are one thing, but having to constantly resign/log back in after just 5-10 mins - esp after just editing an ad, or just adding 1 simple ad change - well - it's just totally ridiculous to say the least! Epage has dropped all our/my TrustPlus ratings that I (all us good sellers here) have worked so hard to achieve and maintain. Lost is MY A+ RATING that I maintained for some 10+ years, and for what? Just because Epage is TOO CHEAP to maintain and pay for that TrustPlus rating service is what I'm now being told by the TrustPlus owner!! That's why! Epage would have us all believe that they are making a Server upgrade is why that rating service is down, but I know better now. So - do you think that I'm just a little bit pissed at Epage for doing all this to all us good sellers here? You damn right I am! But will Epage listen to its Acct people here? Hell NO! They could care less. Of course we all know why Epage is doing that - plain and simple - MONEY and LOST PROFIT GREED!! Every time you have to resign back in to your Acct they get paid for a site hit - same as with Craigslist and Plenty of Fish, etc, etc. Pretty pathetic to say the least - if not annoying as hell. Who really loses here the most are all my long time cherished online customers that have followed my ads religiously and purchased QUALITY items from me over that same 10+ year period. That long running word of mouth connection has now been killed by no one other then the Epage.com owners themselves (Peter Olpe & Edward Arenberg, and Brad Waller included - whole and in part) - as by what they have done to all us ad acct holders/sellers that have made TONS OF MONEY for Epage.com through their Adsconnect whatever advertisement hits, etc! I never was paid 1 RED CENT for all the website referrals I have given out to Epage over those 10+ years, NOR did I ever ask for 1 RED CENT either! That referral program of theirs never worked from day 1 anyway, as there never was a way to track NEW ACCTS that I referred, but I just let it slide like everything else "glitch wise" there at Epage at present. Word of mouth is PRICELESS, and now that Epage.com has literally "Killed the Goose that Lays the Golden Eggs" as it were - they have no one to blame but themselves! I'm sure that there will be another new website pop up shortly online that will track Epage.com, and it's many downfalls just like with that of Craigslist, Plenty of Fish, etc, etc. Those online COMPLAINT sites (and there are many) speak of nothing but NEGATIVE things about all these negative sites, and with more to come down the road! Epage HAS now been added to them as well, as I'm now seeing more and more negative blogs about Epage these days. The DOT COM industry looks to be taking yet another NOSE DIVE as of late - as it also did some years ago, so is it anyone's guess as to why? Just look at what Epage did to screw all us sellers here, and there's your answer right there! It's painfully hard for me to have to write this, and say this negatively about Epage.com, but I no longer have any choice - esp after seeing my ad(s) activity fall off to all but ZERO hits in the last year to year and a half or so. That coming shortly right after the site starting having numerous HTML related glitches to no end, as well as other site problems that also weren't being fixed or supported properly! I just got tired of talking to myself every time I had to site comment, or direct email complain about something glitch wise. Every response back (when I could even get a response back) was just more of the same BS excuses. It always had to be supposedly my cmptr software at issue - so Epage would always have you believe, and that was far from the truth/case - as all my prior LINUX OS, and even now back to WINDOWS OS works just perfectly online at any other site out there - all except for Epage.com, so you be the judge yourself. Who's BS'ing who here? Finally after numerous recent unanswered complaints I guess this was my reward for speaking out negatively. My unlimited ads (as were everyone else's) were then cut down, dumped, and restricted to now only 10 max, and I (as was everyone else) was forced to either PAY $25 to get that "unlimited ads" status back - as by this most recent slap in the face in having to forcefully upgrade to their now forced $25 GOLD ACCT whatever status! That and the TrustPlus ratings were shortly thereafter axed as well. Why would I (anyone for that matter) pay anything when my/our ad(s) activity is all but ZERO activity now? Would you? I doubt it - esp when sites like Craigslist still have UNLIMITED FREE ADS and 4 FREE PIX PER POSTED AD. Why they have now done this to us all at this point in time is anyone's guess - all bad economy issues aside as well, as now it just appears to be a pure GREED/MONEY issue? Unfortunately these now PAY TO USE changes have greatly affected the way my once unlimited FREE ads were cut down to a measly 10 ads! With NO warning at all I might ad, and ZERO response from anyone in CS - namely Brad Waller himself, and whoever is left there calling themselves the company once known as Epage.com that HAD (as in past tense) excellent CS support and response. That - for whatever unknown reason - is now all gone! Epage now only cares about the MONEY & GREED part, and NOT the seller - buying customer & service part. What I mean by this is that Epage has now made the site a PAID ACCT site instead of a FREE ACCT ad site! This is unfortunate for Epage, as now they will have to sleep in the bed with no one but themselves as to that POOR MONEY & GREED DESCISION that they made! For that matter I will only run the 10 most sellable item ads that I have posted right now at present, as all my other ONCE FREE ads were just rudely dumped without any warning to me at all - esp after all the time spent on setting them up initially, and uploading the pix and all. That part really sucked the worst, but oh well - that's Epage for you! Fortunately for me I was able to copy and save to WORD doc files all my ads text, and all the posted pix there, so at least Epage didn't screw me in that aspect! Gotta be one step ahead of these CHEAP guys today, and beat them at their own GREED game! Thank God for that! I doubt that I'll ever go back to posting sales ads at Craigslist (mainly because of their USELESS & LAME flagging crap that endlessly goes on there, and for other reasons explained further below), but you never know - as when I did previously post ads there years ago now - at least I had TONS of email response and ad traffic flow to my UNLIMITED posted ads there - as opposed to the now ZERO traffic flow response at Epage here. I sold tons of stuff weekly there as well, but it was a grind for obvious reasons we all know all too well if you ever have sold there before, and those obvious reasons/problems with C/L are explained further below - if you aren't already familiar with them. So what am I now doing to change all this BS going on here at Epage? Well - for one I'm actively looking for a better "upscale" Free Ads site that isn't going to screw me (and everyone else selling here) like Epage is doing at present. I've looked into posting some ads at KIJIJI.COM as well, but for now I'm still waiting for them to improve their FREE online ads site, and get rid of that LOUSY "flagging crap" of theirs that they too - as well as C/L - use to supposedly screen ads (which we now all know is just a crock of crap). It's a TOTAL JOKE to start with, and I won't deal with that "flagging crap" anymore, as all it attracts online is just more "gutter trash scum of the earth scumbags" the likes of those that now scam/spam/deceive/fraud/feed upon/reside/dwell at Craigslist!
