This is a 1974 AMC Hornet DL GX package Sportabout wagon. 258-6, AT, PS, PDB, AC, package tray, tint, very optioned out. I bought it from the original owner. The original owner was P. K. Williams wife of Austin, Texas. I bought out the old dealership in the early 1990s and bought his car from his widow. It had about 75K on it and my wife and I drove it around for years, and had a lot of work done to it including new trans, tires, brakes, paint and so on. This Special Order car was really nice but has fallen on hard times, and needs restoration. The Hornet would be a easy restoration or a great first project for someone who likes AMCs. The car has NEW $100 CARB, and needs brakes, front seats recovered, minor rust, battery, it is a light duty 904 Torkflite. To those who have asked: THIS CAR CRANKS RIGHT UP, RUNS, DRIVES AND STOPS FINE. No! It is not drivable, as it has no tags, and as mentioned above, needs tires, and battery! E/MAIL ME FOR MORE PHOTOS.
